Now Three and Vodafone have merged - can I look forwards to better signal strengths where I live ?
At the moment - next door puts me in a signal shadow, downstairs, on my Vodafone mobile - but upstairs I connect at much higher speeds !
Are they likely to get rid of half of their existing transmitters ?
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

You should get access to both combined networks 'over the coming months'. It will be great for me as three (smarty) have 5g and faster speeds locally and Vodafone have way less black spots out and about.

Coming months? Voda3 will be implementing mast sharing over the next eight years. Any overlapping masts will be shut down.3

As of June 2025, the Voda 3 Multi-Operator Core Network has been enabled at 24 masts across the UK. By March 2026, 10,000 more network sites will have MOCN. see https://www.vodafone.co.uk/newscentre/features/merger-sharing-mobile-networks-everything-you-need-to-know-mocn/1 -
I know what the link says, I’ve shared it a few times myself. Like I said, many will be waiting years as they aim to complete the work by 2033. However, they do say 95% of masts should be completed within six years.
