Well a bit of to-ing and fro-ing with Easyjet today and most of my money has been returned.
(Not agreed it as a full and final settlement tho - so next step will be ABTA!)
Good - don't let them get away with this. It's clearly a massive change to the booking as you quite literally had 2 rooms, and would have only had 1 after the change was made.
Honestly I've dodged a bullet. Here are pics of the hotel they moved us to.....

Something more akin to the hand of God.
(I contacted Tesco.....saying easyJet have cancelled my clubcard partner vouchers....they said they'd look into it...then replied saying they couldn't help as it was being dealt with internally at easyJet - how would they know? I logged into my account again and there was all my money whereas only an hour earlier it wasn't).
