CCJ £314 no idea who the claimant is

Good morning I received an email notification from clear score this morning logged in to see I have a CCJ which has shocked me. I have no idea who it’s from. It’s for £314

What do I do about this? I’ve just got my credit score back up to 900 I’m devastated

Phone the CNBC in Northampton and use the claim reference number to find out the details,  asking them to email a copy of the claim form if possible. Be prepared for a long wait on the phone,  or phone tomorrow morning at 098.30, so as soon as possible in the morning

Check the claimant details,  any legal company details,  the date it was sent and the name and address it was sent to   ( probably an old address   )

Then study the newbies sticky thread in announcements,  regarding the £313 set aside process

Okay so I’ve managed to get through to the civil national business centre

    Parking charge

    30/05/2022

It’s all been sent to an address I haven’t lived at since July 2022 hence why I didn’t receive the claim form etc

it was for a courtesy car

upon looking on the maps I can see it’s parking on a cul-de-sac behind North Middlesex Hospital

i know from the date that this would have been me parking here to rush over to the hospital due to an ectopic pregnancy which had ruptured. I was rushed into surgery that same day to have it removed

are these grounds to appeal this ccj

The good news is that means Diddly Squat to anyone but you & lenders never see it at all. So forget about that one 👍

No, they don't see a credit score - they do see a CCJ.

There is a "newbees post" in the parking section of the forum - tells you how to go about getting the CCJ set aside.

If it was a courtesy car I presume that was from a garage?

Your internal credit reference score is totally meaningless.

Incorrect old address is grounds for a £313  set aside,  Incorrect service of papers

    Which parking company   ?

Which legal company   ( if any  ?  )

What was the date of the claim form   ?

Read recent set aside cases on here over the last 12 months,  for background information etc

Study the set aside advice in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum

You should focus on obtaining the set aside,  not the temporary effects of the CCJ on your credit file

hi all I have a few questions

would I be considered the registered keeper of the vehicle if it was a courtesy car?

Do I send a copy of my current tenancy when sending the N244. (Ticket originally was received in May 2022. I moved out that property in July 2022. And into my new property August 2022.)

Do I explain why I had parked there ? (What I explained before about no parking at hospital emergency surgery for ectopic pregnancy and also provide the evidence for this when sending N244?)

Can I ask for a remote hearing is this recommended ?

Do I contact moorside legal services before filing the n244 ?
