Help with water bills when someone in the family has Crohn's (but not on benefits)

in Water bills
Just wondering if anyone has managed to get a reduction in their water bill because of a medical condition requiring more water usage than normal - but the family isn't in receipt of benefits. Im with South Staffs Water - tried applying for Watersure to get a reduction but you have to be on benefits to be eligible. Our new direct debit is now £100 per month - gone up from £65 per month.
My daughter has Crohn's so uses bathroom much more than a healthy person. She is a student and isn't eligible for PIP. My husband and I both work.

Are you on a water meter and what is your usage in cubic meters? I understand that people with Crohn's disease need to use the toilet more and it may involve more showering and laundry on top, but a £100 a month water bill indicates you household is using the equivalent of around nine people's water usage (accounting for fixed charges), that seems to be a far higher usage than I would expect and I am wondering if you perhaps have a leak.1

Thanks for the pointers - I will investigate leak possibility.
My daughter's PIP was rejected (we tried appealing but no luck) - she is able to manage most of the daily living activities herself - which is great but means no PIP.1
