Thanks for the freebie, andI know some people don't care what is in what, as long as it's free, but I can I please ask parents, most of whom will care, to e mail this company and say they will boycott these eggs until they remove the disgusting dangerous E110 colourant used to make the yolk?

The artificial colour is sunset yellow. It is a suspected carcinogen (cancer causing agent) and it causes rashes, asthma, eczema, and eye problems including an intolerance of sunlight. It is banned in many countries and luckily most companies here now recognise this, ie nestle have now removed all artificial colours from their sweets. Cadbury themselves, often emblazon "Free from all artificial colours and flavours" on some of their products which indicates that the artificial ones are harmful.

When I emailed them last yr and the year before, their excuse was, we found if we used a natural colour it ran into the white a bit and didn't look as good!!
What does it matter what it looks like if they are going inside your belly? It matters more that millions of kids are eating this junk. personally I buy my kids rolo eggs, smarties eggs, galaxy/mars eggs etc. All those mini egs are fine.


I know some people wont care, as I said, but those ofyou with kids who DO care, please take the time to e mail them. The more people that do it, it may make them think and use a natural colour instead which isn't dangerous.
