Credit Bill from Virgin Media

I've just had a bill from Virgin Media and it is a credit for £70 odds due on the 1st July because I left them.
Does this mean I have to keep my direct debit open until then as I was going to cancel it as I already had a bill from them for £105 to be taken on the 1st July?

Yep. They refund via DD.
Once the account is showing a zero balance you can cancel the DD.Life in the slow lane1
