From a letter to Aberdeenshire Council in 2013. Lots and lots of locations, far more than just the television masts. However this was prior notification to planning, it's not clear whether these are all just potential location, or whether they were all planned to be used. Including proposed new builds surely implies the latter.

  • I live in the north east of England and have been trying to get my smart meter working for 3 years with out any success The coastal belt of Tyneside is noted for bad reception for meter communication.   I am on first name terms with the  engineer who’s calling once again on Monday to try and connect my dumb meter, but as he lives close by and cannot get his own meter to talk to Arqiva’s mast I am not hopeful.

I do not believe Arqivas connection figures

If you can receive Vodafone, speak to your supplier to get a 4G comms hub fitted.

Last site visit with us the engineer was so sure we wouldn't get LRR signal, he actually had a cellular CH unpacked and ready to fit. Then the LRR came to life and it's actually been OK since Octopus sorted out a certificate issue.

I am further north than you.  On his last visit to me (in October) the engineer brought a comm hubs that use the mobile phone network rather than LRR.  These seem to have only recently become available.
