I've heard back from the lady at Travelodge who said that Horizon expressed that we would have to appeal but reluctantly agreed to cancel them on this occasion. So i'm now awaiting a confirmation email....

Only the driver can be held liable, and no statement about passing the NTK to the driver. Not PoFA compliant and no keeper liability on each count.
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D

    Have we seen the back?

Appeal anyway as keeper (not as driver), saying that the PCN is cancelled according to Travelodge management but you require confirmation.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes, the back has similar wording to the front. Only driver liability, and not requiring the NTK to be passed to the driver, so Both sides confirm the NTK is non-PoFA compliant.

I've checked the planning register for Wealden District Council and there are no applications for either the cameras or signs.

Hello ! I have read the newbies section on PCNs and thanks for all the advice that you offer in your own time - its much appreciated!

I apologise if this is incorrect (Should I have started a new thread?) - I have the same issue as the OP but at a Travelodge / Starbucks in Haydock for allegedly overstaying. Same template received from Horizon parking as OP here - date of alleged breach 14.04.26, PCN issue date 27.04.26 and date letter received 09.05.26. I have been to the starbucks in question as there is no obvious signage about using a "tablet" for upto 4 hours and lets say Starbucks staff were less than interested as per the OP's experience here in 2025 !

Am I understanding correctly that the letter should arrive within 14 days or have I got that completely wrong? I have the receipt for the coffees that were purchased on that day. Grateful for any help or comments offered ! :-) thanks in advance !
