Actually I think it’s more a belt and braces sort of phone!

If you read the blurb (hard work) it seems that 24GB is 8GB of proper + 16GB of "on demand", bit like those virtual RAM things you used to get in the spinny hard drive days.

It looks like a very small tablet sold as a phone.

These phones are OK just make sure you don't need 5G soon and if you need both SIM slots check the 2nd one is 4G too.

For the money, if you want a really big phone [which takes a very long time to charge] and not too bothered about updates in a few years then it's worth a look.

I've had heavy phones before - such as a Nokia 9000i - this is a lightweight - I don't need a pocketable  phone

And 5G is unnecessary

Shared RAM does work - my tablet has 24Gb RAM (shared) too

I have a redmi note 10 and have been very happy with it for a number of years. You now got me looking at note 14 haha

Our Redmi Note 9s didn't last long. We are happy (so far) with the Samsungs that replaced them.

Is this OUKITEL phone any good - it appears to have a massive battery and is huge - I recently bought a DOOGEE tablet - which is excellent but don't know about the phone.. any advice ?

For a hundred and twenty quid this seems fairly decent device if a large battery capacity is important. Ignore the comments about it being 4g only, that is not important on a device like this.
