Huge congratulations on the house purchase - I am delighted for you!
As you say, lots to do so you will be very busy. It is indeed never ending when you are a homeowner but also a nice feeling to know it is yours. I am off to do my own to do list today and keen to get cracking before the rain starts.
I know you are likely to be driving up the M6 so remember lots of places to stop around junctions 28 - 29 if you need a break or fuel. Not much diesel round this way yesterday but petrol seems slightly better.
Good luck with the move, hope it all goes smoothly. Your next post on here will probably be in Scotland!

Congratulations 🎉 on the house purchase going through! The beginning of an exciting new chapter for you! There is always something to have to spend money on when you own your own home but it is absolutely worth it for the security and pleasure it can bring. Very few can do everything straightaway so you will be like most of us. Just plodding along and doing what we can, when we can.
I’m sure that you will be missed in your little community but soon settled in your new one.
Wishing you another hefty dose of good luck for the move itself 🤞2 -
Congratulations on becoming a homeowner, looking forward to hearing about your home in Scotland .

Congratulations! It’s good to be moving in spring as there are things you can take your time over when it’s warm and work out your priorities - if the house gets you down you can head into the garden, even if just to see what’s there. Unless it’s a complete jungle/blank slate, you need a year to see what’s there and how you want to use it. Just pull out the stuff you hate as you spot it!

Massive congratulations on the house purchase 🥳 You have worked so hard to get to this point, there will always be things to do but once you are in the new house you can take a deep breath and take your time.

Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!2 -
well done you for sticking with the long slog. It all seems to have come together finally at a gallop. Best of luck with the journey.

Just coming in to add in my congratulations. I am sooooo very pleased for you! You should be really proud of yourself 😊❤️👏
In the midst of everything else on that list it might be worth picking up water bottles and boiling some eggs as snacks on Monday?
Do you have an ‘immediate needs’ box started? Things like a plate, knife, fork, spoon, tea towel, one roll of toilet paper, couple of portions of dog and cat food, their eating dishes, medications, kettle, tea bags, coffee, sugar (for anyone around who’s helping), that sort of stuff?KK
