Hi folks,
I am on the lookout for one of those Pole Saws to cut a hedge, basically a small chainsaw on a extendable pole, Lidl do them but haven't seen them in a while, where I live the Parkside one was supposed to be in stock a few months ago, but none of the local Lidl stories had any.
They cost around £40 without battery, but as I have quite a few cordless tools from Lidl that is is not a problem, I have plenty of batteries.
I do have the extendable pole hedge trimmer and ground level hedge trimmer which are pretty good, but feel adding one of the pole saws might help as well to cut branches at top of hedge.
Anyone have a Parkside one, or a similar brand and what is your opinion please?
Many thanks for any advice.

Not sure how much it was at Lidl, but I see many Parkside at Ebay for about £75 with a battery. For £80 you can buy Titan at Screwfix.0

The Titan is lighter and slimmer so easier to manoeuvre between branchesLove living in a village in the country side1

I have the titan version and never use it as I find it much easier to climb steps and do the cutting.

I have the corded titan, although I've only used it when I was taking a tree down. It was pretty decent for its purpose.1

I have a Ryobi cordless one. It's no Stihl but does what I need a couple of times a year. It's 3m long and will slice through 3 inches in short order. I do recommend wearing a hard hat when using.1

Thanks for replies, does the chair ever fly off I wonder or become loose, I believe it needs to be oiled often as well.0

You need to occasionally check the chain tension and oil levels.1
