some taxi driver has stole my mobile
is there anyway to prove he has it eg.
track it

Goto his depot and tell his boss.
Do you have a receipt that you were in the Taxi ?, some taxi's give them out now.

If you don't get anywhere with their boss then goto the police .

(tell the boss you are doing this and something might happen before you do).

Other than that, you can pitch a tent in the guys garden and say your not moving unless you get your phone back )

stolen, or just drove off with it still in the car?

I'd say the proof of theft would be using it, but they'd have to be stupid to use it with your SIM

i left it in his car
rang him 2mins later when i found a pay phone and he said it wasnt there
but i dont have it and i know i had it in the taxi but not when i got out
anyone know any cheap/free tracker site so i can prove he turned it off

and i haev been in and told them and tthe boss said u gotta prove it
i dont have a receipt tho :-(

The first thing is to report it lost to your network provider. They will stop anyone using the phone.

its been reported to the network but they admit them self it can be un banned but its illegal
i just need to find out where it was turned off is there anyway of tracking where it was then?

It would probably help if you work for MI5??

i know it is trace able cause u can get it online but u need the person witht he phone to text its ok to trace
then it will give a location for upto 30days
but since its not with me and turned off i cant use that site anyone any other ideas?

I'm afraid that your gonna have say goodbye to the phone glenn, did you have insurance?

There is no way your going to be able to trace it - even if you worked from MI5 you still wouldn't be able to prove the taxi driver has it.

yes i had insurance on it
but there is a excess of £30
its whats on the phoen that hurts most
the is privite files on it that can cause trouble if int he wrong hands
and i can prove the taxi driver has it if i can see where it was turned off i can say he done it or he didnt
as he had no one in between me leaving and me phoning.
and i know what route he had to take to get back to base
wher he was when i rang him

but liek u said james bond would have trouble on this i think
