I don't think it's you I struggled to get in too today. Plenty kind people here to help, just bat away comments you don't like. Ask if you're struggling how to do something it takes time to find your way round the forum. Post the letters ASP it helps other to help you. 🙂2

Gr1pr said:Sounds to me as if she is fighting a court claim, not a CCJ, the latter would happen if she lost in court, but it wouldn't be recorded as long as she paid in full within the 30 days grace period
So, does she have a court claim ? Or an actual CCJ ? ( clarity is important here )
If she has a court date, when is it and what is the claim ?Coupon-mad said:Please show us the court orders so far.
What do you mean "The court states that even if she wins they will not put her costs over to the other party"?troublemaker22 said:Amandahux, We'd love to help your daughter but you've posted a long message that none of us can understand. Please show us a picture of the court document, making sure to redact the claim number, your daughter's name, address and vehicle number and any password.
I suspect that MSE has been under attack for several days, or there are server issues causing the forum errors and failures, so persevere please2 -
No unkindness meant, you wouldn't believe how many people "post and run" and agreed, forum has been experiencing technical problems lately. You are now a Forumite so should be able (forum technical difficulties notwithstanding) to edit your own posts and paste pictures.2

Our daughter is a newly qualified paediatric nurse who lives in Bournemouth.
Whilst she was a student nurse, she lived (and still does) in a rental property in Bournemouth with two other nurses. They work tirelessly and started this journey in 2020 during the pandemic but they stuck it out and are now qualified. However, they live in a property with a gated area but they have had the misfortune of a strange character watching the girls are camera as he lives in the same complex. To cut a long story short the msn in question reported two of the girls cars to NPC for not having a permit (they did have a permit and it was displayed). Our daughters letters were coming to our house as her car is registered here (in the Midlands) ….. we did not receive a letter from NCP only a letter from DCBL Legal.
The letters were threatening us with bailiffs so we paid the £170.00 but then we got another letter from DCBL legal for another £170.00.
Her friend has got letter for £700 approx and this is for all parking in their own parking space - they are nurses this stress is unbelievable!!We phoned the bank as we paid the first fine and the bank said DCBL legal does not seem genuine as the reviews are shocking. Therefore the bank ordered a charge back and now she has a CCJ and she has now paid about £500 to go to court on the in July. Our local MP has been really helpful but Citizens advice have been terrible. The court states that even if she wins they will not put her costs over to the other party. She can’t move house because she has a CCJ which means she still lives by this man is acts suspicious and she parks miles down the road as she’s scared to park in her own parking space. She’s a nurse and does night shift and early mornings and I worry about her safety. This neighbour has caused so much stress but I can’t see her winning in court as how can she as they will have legal representation. Please, is anyone willing to help or advice.I hadn’t done a runner, I couldn’t get back into the forum. like I said I’m new to this
She would have got the CCJ set aside and the claim struck out. She'd have won
This story - at the hands of NPC and DCB Legal - is truly appalling.
Stop paying NPC and don't be bullied. How much are you and your daughter out of pocket now and is the CCJ set aside?
What about her friend, does she have a claim form yet? These cases are easy to defend so send the friend to post here.Amandahux said:have tried endlessly to try and get legal advice. Citizens advice hasn’t been very helpful, solicitors do not return my calls, my home insurance legal team do not deal with parking fines and the only person who has been helpful is the local MP.We live in Northamptonshire and in 2023 our daughter was a student nurse in Bournemouth and lived in a private rental with two other nurses. She moved in, in August 2023. She is now a newly qualified paediatric nurse and works tirelessly with long shifts and for the last two years has suffered being bullied by DCB Legal .She parks in a gated area and when she moved in was given a permit by her estate agents for NPC parking control.A man that also was living in the gated housing kept reporting her for parking in her own space, he’s made the girls feel extremely uncomfortable and has done some peculiar things.Sophie displayed a permit and first received a parking fine on her 21st birthday in August 2023 which she paid by mediation.
We couldn’t understand why she got a fine but kept getting threatening letters from DCB Legal and we just wanted this nightmare to go away.We then received more threatening letters from DCB Legal so our daughter refused to pay as she had not been issued a parking fine from NPC - her mail is directed to us at my address in Northamptonshire and we didn’t receive anything. The fine initially was £170.00.We were threatened with the bailiffs, I got scared and I paid the fine myself but I then started reading the reviews on DCB Legal and people had said that they have wanted to end their life as they became threatening. I phoned my bank who agreed that this sounds not genuine and they offered me a charge back.We then didn’t hear from DCB Legal again until our daughter received an email to say she had a CCJ. They were angry because the bank had refunded our money. We had no court hearing but a CCJ has been issued, which I thought was unlawful without going to court.
This will destroy her life. She’s not been able to move house and has to live by this odd person who keeps reporting her for parking in her own space! The MP phoned NPC and the MP explained that the photographic evidence shows our daughter has a permit. NPC explained that the permit was invalid but she had only just moved in. There is no expiry date on the permit so how was she supposed to know this. She now has a court date for 18 July 2025. She is terrified, she is just a young nurse. It cost her £300.00 to go to court but the small print states if she wins the court fees will not be reimbursed to her. However, she has now been bullied into signing a consent and pay another £123.00 to agree to set the CCJ aside but the hearing is still in July. This has cost her a small fortune and is been so upsetting that these things are happening and there is nowhere to go for help. She’s been forced to park miles down the road and she works night shift and this isn’t acceptable and it is unsafe when she has her own parking space but too scared to park there.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
