Grouping the "I am mentioned" notifications

Just a suggestion regarding notifications. Normally if you go to the bell icon it groups notifications by thread. If multiple new posts have appeared in a thread you've replied in you'll get a dot next to it with the number of new posts and it'll take you to the last unread post in that particular thread.

The only exception to this seems to be when I've been mentioned in a thread though and if someone quotes that particular post to reply to it it generates a new listing in the notifications tab for every post that quotes the post I've been mentioned in.

Could I suggest adding the option to group the ``I'm mentioned" notifications in the same way that replies to threads I've participated in are grouped?

I tend to look at the notifications and read new replies in specific threads first and if someone mentions me in a thread and multiple people reply with that post quoted my other notifications end up getting drowned in notifications to say I've been mentioned in the thread and it becomes harder to follow.

For now I've turned off notifications to say when I've been mentioned as I was sometimes getting dozens notifications appearing in the notifications list in quick succession from a single thread but at the same time it would still be useful to be notified if someone mentions you in a thread you've never posted in.

I don't know if there's a workaround at all or if it's something that could possibly be requested as part of an update?
