Good day. Basically I'm in a 2 year contract with Calor. This is due to end in December. The gas in the tank I had before the issue will last until then.
Calor lorry rolls up last autumn dumps 636 litres of gas BY MISTAKE into my tank. Should've been delivered to the neighbours tank.
Calor admit the mistake. Invoice ME for the gas. I tell them no way, suck it out and take it away. I will get it cheaper post end of the contract. They offer me 10% credit note if I buy it. I say no way, take it away.
I ring two weeks ago to ask "what on Earth is going on" how can it take 7 months to suck it out. Lady says it can take that long. Offers the 10% again. I say no way, suck it out.
Today 7 months later a Calor lorry rolls up to suck it out. Think is the driver said it's the second time he's been and the engineer still hasn't modified the tank as it has a closed metal thing where the suck out should take place. So here we go again. I ring Calor on the off chance nothing gets mentioned, lad at Calor now offers 20% said I'd agreed to this with a colleage wwho rang me 2 weeks ago, I never agreed a verbal agreement with her, total nonsense. Tell Jack I want 30% off the bill then I'll deal.
Is it worth taking the above gas if I get 30% off the invoice? If not take it with 20% as offered today. Or will I get a better deal in December? I pay 66p right now plus VAT
