Because I am a newbie on here I am not yet allowed to post links, but you guys can search online for "ebay isn't paying a lot of sellers, beware..." and many other posts. eBaY blocks me from participating and even reading on their forums, but I'm sure you will find a lot of information incriminating eBaY in many issues, including criminal and civil charges, hijacking of trademark(s) etc. etc.

I'm a frequent buyer of all kinds of goods and services, but am not an eBaY customer and will never be. So anything you sell on eBaY will not be sold to me. There are also too many consumers (buyers) on eBaY who need hand holding to say it mildly. I don't find that venue safe for sellers or buyers, especially for buyers.
If you were an active seller and buyer you would be fully aware that the balance of power falls firmly with the buyer. EBay does not care in the slightest about sellers... keep buyers coming and sellers will tolerate it.

Why have you posted the exact same (complete with accusation of eBay stalking customers) as your previous thread?
Search online for "eBaY stalking scandal" (I'm not yet allowed to post links).

I do not believe the people who sued eBay were customers.
eBay to pay $3 million after couple became the target of harassment, stalking - CBS News

They appear to publish a news website focusing on players in the e-commerce industry.

    I think eBay behaved appallingly.
But your allegation of eBay stalking customers is clearly untrue.
Unless you have other proof of eBay stalking actual customers.

Blimey.  'losing' a piddling $7 for not fulfilling a perfectly reasonable request for ID looks even more insignificant against that!
But were the people in the link 'customers' of eBay?
    As in buyers and sellers.
    I don't believe they were.

No, there's no indication they were (or if they were it was completely irrelevant), I was just struck by the OP apparently being aware of the case and still feeling aggrieved at their $7 being withheld because they won't do what's being asked of everyone and provide evidence for ID.

I was struck by what I perceive as a totally incorrect allegation.
To me, that weakens any point a poster makes.
