The Great 'Free Online Books' Hunt.

Up until Aug 4th all the big ebook producers, and a ton of minor ones, are having this thing called the World ebook fair. They claim that there are 1/3 of a million books you can download free. It's worked with the one or two I've tried.

Hi

Hope some of you can help.
I am looking for any DIY manuals as ebooks. We have recently moved into an old house which needs lots of work and neither myself not my Hubby are very experienced at this sort of thing.
Need to know things like plastering, bricklaying, plumbing...that sort of thing. Have had some quotes for professionals....and nearly collapsed in a heap, at their rates!!!
We are not hard up...but like everyone else on here, need to save money, so ebboks would be a great help.

What about www.readprint.com? I've been using this one for ages, they periodically add new authors and stories and they have background info about the authors as well. Brilliant site.

Not exactly finance of course, but might interest somebody!

When I said finance - I meant moneysaving ie like personal finance, property etc.
