Sorry no that’s what we have been quoted for just us, neighbour paying separately for their panels (we’re getting different types of panels). We’re sharing the cost of the posts. So I’m guessing it’s on the expensive side then? 

With concrete posts, they are designed to take one panel. How can you have your panels on one side and the neighbour have their panels on their side?

You don't have to use them exactly how they are designed.  For example, the neighbour could fix some 30x100mmm boards on their side of the posts to use as rails and use feather edge boards.  That's what we did in our old house because panels generally blow over and/or the tiny nails in the top sections rust out and start falling off.  I don't think I've ever seen a fence panel in good condition if it's not new.  Feather edge on the other hand, is much more hardy and you can use thicker glavanised nails when attaching them.  Panels are quick and easy to fit but IMHO look rubbish after a couple years and don't last as long
