Broadband renewal

My Sky Superfast broadband contract is about to expire. I'm happy with the speed I get and don't need Full fibre speeds. I'm not happy with the renewal price of £34 a month though. Can anyone recommend alternative providers? Ideally I would like to keep my landline, so I'm assuming I need a hybrid fibre contract?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

If you are in a full fibre area then finding another provider to take over a FTTC (part fibre, not hybrid) may be problematic as it is often no longer on sale, even if switching.
You will find that FTTC with landline contracts are now becoming more expensive than FTTP with VoIP.
Best bet is FTTP with a provider that offers a phone service or even Virgin Media if available, I got a great bung through uswitch which made VM very cheap over 18 months.0 -

I'm currently out of contract paying £26.65
If i was to renew for the same speed i would be paying £32 rising in April to £35 and rising again to £38 (TalkTalk)
Full Fibre no phone I believe the above figures would rise a further £2 for phone.
Phone was not available at time of change to Full fibre
Price has changed now starting at £31 only offering 1 package compared with 4 for new customers and 2 at lower prices0 -
Move away from the biggies, they all do the annual above inflation hikes. These comparison sites only list those that pay to get on the list, you will have to check what other services are available.Lastly FTTP will be cheaper than out dated inferior FTTC. With BT pying Halo to get some sort of customer service was paying £42 p/m for 50 meg. Now on FTTP 500 meg pay £21 p/m ends next Feb.0
