Our final payment for the holiday went out over the weekend, and once I added the weekly spends to it, DH had £27.70 left for debt, small but positive. However, I am going to ignore this, as the bank account will go overdrawn over the next week or so while I wait for my wages, so as the overdraft is the highest interest, it makes sense to leave it there. Next week's wages from DH will be healthy again, so there should be a few hundred to pay to the debt. I did think about just paying it over to set a habit but couldn't bring myself to do it.
I made cakes this weekend but ran out of time for biscuits, so I bought 3 packs of nice biscuits in Lidl with 15% off, that'll do.
We've had a few nice days which have warmed up the house, it goes colder by the evening, though. Blankets and hot water bottles are still being used. I have set an oil radiator to come on around 4am and go off about 7am, this heats our bedroom, and I am finding I sleep much sounder and for longer. I think I was waking up early because I was cold.
