The EPA was done before the rules changed. The bank decided to photocopy it and grant me access to most things needed for general living, so basically a general POA backed by the EPA, which made clear some limits of power.elsien said:EPA is a power of attorney, but not one that can be put in place now as it’s been superseded by LPA for those that didn’t already have one. Did you mean general power-of-attorney instead because that does not need registration with the OPG.
Might not happen now. We registered the EPA a few years later when the medics decided she lacked capacity. And sorted out full registration with the bank.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
