Hi
My plan ends to day with OFTM I have Dual Fuel Fixed May24 v2. I have looked at numerous comparison sites including this one. OFTM have offered me a renewal on what appears to be my current plan.

I am confused whether to wait a month until the new plans come in July...will they be better than my current version  or to keep the current plan or to moved to a new plan now.

Several posts on forum mentioning OFTM have been allowing change to cheaper fix with no exit fees. ( check with OFTM)

Outfox allow you to change to another of their tariffs fee free. No need to wait until the end of your current tariff to switch plans.

Are you sure it's the same tariff you're already on? A fixed tariff from last May will be long gone. And what "new plans" in July?

Don't do anything? Then they'll default onto the SVT and will be paying a lot more..........

OP, see what's available. Any tariff with no exit fees from any supplier is fine. You can sign up and leave whenever you want. Usually with your current supplier, you don't pay an exit fee if you switch internally to another of their products. I've switched twice with British Gas this year.

Does the last price cap not come into effect from July though. So does that not mean July's rates will be better than junes?

Actually I think their email is misleading. It looks the the old rate is one of the options or the variable from last year, but it isn't if you go through the link to the portal.

So I back to going on the variable for one month then going on to new rates in July if there are any. Will they be lower than current rate?

Why go to SVT? it’s about 25% dearer than the fix, does the fixed have exit fees?.

The july cap only affects the SVT.
