Billie! Scrap everything I've said before!
Solution - super-DIYable - is to buy a DP clip like the one shown in your pic, cut off the wall-mounting parts, leaving just the round flexible strap, and if possible the clamping screw or clip that secures it closed - but not an issue, push the gutter outlet upwards until it's level, ensuring the miscreant joint doesn't actually open by doing this, smear StixAll all around the dodgy sliding connection (orange arrow) to secure it and prevent future slippage, and then place the clip around it as a decorative collar.
Yay - third time lucky...

Thankyou all so much I need to digest this as like I say I’m total novice lol. The drainpipe appears to have a bit of dampness around the bottom after rain. I’m wondering after paying a handy man to install a water butt whether the drain pipe looks a bit butchered if you know what I mean

"The drainpipe appears to have a bit of dampness around the bottom after rain." You mean around where it enters the ground? It might be tricky to see, but is this water coming up from the ground, or is it obviously trickling down from one of the other additions?
LH pic - that appears to be a condensate pipe coming from your boiler? There isn't a crack in your DP at the bottom-left of where it joins, is there? It certainly looks a bit messy, but as long as it works...
The water butt connect is like one that I have. They work well, tho' can be awkward to open if they block with leaves - especially if, like you and me - the DP has been painted! And, yes, the cut through the DP is poor, but almost certainly works ok.

I wish I did. My son in laws a plumber but I can’t get any help from him as he says he is too busy. I don’t even bother asking for advice anymore
