No - man up, stop complaining and put a jumper onWe put the log burner on last night. Thermometer in the living room was reporting 19⁰ but I felt cold even with a hoodie on. Got it up to 23⁰ before we opened the door to let the heat out.
Might have to do the same tonight if the weather forecast is accurate1 -
Yeah - if you're cold go for itLight the fire? Definitely would (if we weren't part way through renovating the living room). Put the central heating on? No way. Central heating went off end of April and will stay off until end of September at least. Need to build that credit up.2

It can get ok in morning, morning air seems fresh at the moment, but pretty unpleasant hot stale air from about 2-3pm onwards.facing west. Weather here is miles away from heating, and have had fan running since 7pm.

Luckily for us our house has still been on the verge of being too warm so it has been windows and doors thrown open.
We were away in the motorhome for a few days though and the mornings were on the chilly side so we did take the chill of with the heating for an hour or so each morning. Before then having to throw all the windows and hatches open because it got too hot again!!1 -
The continuous heat has got so bad, I just had a huge nose bleed, worst I have ever had. I think I was close to needing hospital but managed to somehow get it to clot.1

(Worst of my life was as a kid during hockey in PE, standing over the ball and felt my nose drip - it kept going so long I missed the bus home and my mum had to come and collect me after it had stopped.)
My nosebleeds are the only reason we keep tampons in the house2
