Paint colour suggestions please.

I went to B&Q and got my paint matched to a shade in my wallpaper.  I had tried at least 10 tester pots before I did this but it was so worth the money. 

There isn't a charge for matching and mixing, but you have to buy a particular paint, I think it was Dulux Valspar although I can't find the receipt to confirm that, but the match was perfect. 

Also if you find a Farrow and Ball shade you like that can be matched, any trade paint shop like Crown or Dulux Decorator centres. 

Re the spray gun I didn't have any success with mine, ended up spraying fence panels with it and even then everything else got covered.

Interestingly, we're just renovating our living room and have gone for a graphite grey on the chimney breast, and a coastal grey on the main walls with an area of brighter wallpaper at either side of the chimney. The coastal grey is more of a light blue to me though. When we had the walls skimmed, the plasterer recommended a straw colour, but I forgot what he called it, so we didn't look. I'm just the doer of the painting and wallpapering anyway, not the chooser. 

We looked through the Dulux range at B&Q, plenty of shades available if you go to a big store. Matt all the way for us.

We have farrow and ball cooking apple green in our living room.  While the paint doesn't really justify the price, the colour is very nice.
