Hi again, I have now received the form N180 from the CNBC
    Two questions:
    1) Its advised to send the form by email to the court, the parking company (National parking control group) and also DCB legal. I plan to use the digital link PDF, complete and email to DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk with CC to DCBL and National parking control group. I am advised to search for their corresponding email address rather than post it, would collections@dcbltd.com and  info@nationalparkingcontrol.co.uk be okay to send the completed N180?
    2) In section D1 its advised by coupon mad that we answer NO. Would we always lose the claim if I answered YES?
    Thank you

    1) send to that CNBC DQ email address but do not copy in the debt collectors dcbl, they are not involved here, its info@ DCBLegal that you are using.   Do NOT send to the claimant either   !

So you are dealing with DCB LEGAL,  not DCBL  !

    2) you should follow the advice given, no deviation

Thank you, so just to clarify: I will send completed N180 to DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk and CC info@ DCBLegal. I don't need to send another copy to the claimant?

Correct,  assuming that you use the correct email address for dcb legal,  definitely not the ones you posted

NOT to the Claimant, who is using a solicitor for a reason.

Everyone (hundreds of posters in the first half of 2025 alone) with a single PCN claim from DCB Legal, have easily beaten these.

DCB Legal will likely discontinue by the New Year. If so: no hearing, no costs, nowt scary.

But it is a national disgrace and a drain on Society, in terms of money and anxiety.

If you want to be part of the push to change things in future, it's very important that people like you tell the Government that:

    a) you have no faith in POPLA or the IAS and that there must be the SINGLE APPEALS SERVICE that the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 *almost* promised. As long as it is independent and impartial (and only ONE appeals service, not two involved in a race to the bottom) that will give a real option to resolve disputed cases out of court.

b).  THAT THE ENRICHMENT OF 'DEBT RECOVERY FEES' MUST BE COMPLETELY BANNED. DISPUTED CASES ARE NOT SOLVED BY DEMANDING MORE MONEY AND OFFERING A 'PAYMENT PLAN' THAT ONLY DUPED VICTIMS PAY. DRAS LIKE DCB LEGAL MAKE NO MONEY IF THEY HANDLE DISPUTES IN THE SPIRIT OF THE APPEALS CHARTER, WHICH IS WHY THEY ALWAYS PLOUGH ON TO COURT CLAIMS AND CCJs, RATHER THAN OFFERING REAL RESOLUTION AT PRE-ACTION STAGE.

c). Tell them about your experience and the complete and utter waste of court resources caused on a grand scale by DCB Legal,

Responses are invited to the Consultation now:

    Hi again guys,
I now have a date and time for mediating appointment
I plan to offer £10 to mediator to settle this and argue whatever they are claiming is excessive
I have also been sent a delegation of authority to mediate form - do I need to fill this in? If so, who is, is it the mediator or do I only fill this in if I need someone else to take the call? 3) What is the name of the person whom you are delegating authority? Would this be the mediator? It also asks for a phone number which I don't have.
    Thank you

No, that's only for if you want to delegate it so a friend or relative handles the daft Mediation call for you!

There are two links about this 'nothing' stage in the Template Defence first 8 steps which I expect you've seen.

Be robust but yawning and fed up: do NOT engage really. Call the claim out as a 'scam' and tell the Mediator it'll be discontinued (as always for DCB Legal who are a joke) so their service should not be propping these parking claims up.

And even though this is stressful: while your case is quiet (Mediation is merely a burp before you gobble DCB Legal up and spit them out...because they'll discontinue in the end) please please do the government's Public Consultation.

We need every poster to come back & complete this vital Consultation before the deadline (this time next week).

    See this thread: -

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.

I've written some guidance on that thread. I have covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.

Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam 15 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.

    ONE WEEK LEFT.
