Thats not strictly true, ive pre-ordered computer games before and they have been delivered through my letterbox on the actual "release day", depends where you order from.

Also depends on when the goods are allowed to be released.

The goods were allowed to be shipped yesterday. I have had mine delivered to work today (Argos pre-order, and the driver had at least a dozen boxes the exact same size (sized to fit the Switch 2)) and the mail room for the site currently has about forty boxes, all the same size, from Amazon, that appear to also be Switch 2 consoles. 

Do you own your business?

It was a disciplinary offence at my place to have your Amazon et al stuff delivered to the office. Been in force since the times when Amazon only sold books. 

Yep, own my own business, no problem with any of my staff having stuff delivered here either (including when one of them had a car delivered). The site where I have my office has a lot of businesses on site and I do not know any of those who are bothered either. I have one client who has restrictions, but their office is in the City, very expensive, not a big post room and has really strict security so it makes sense.
