Amazon complaint email

Not sure if this is the right section so please move if needed.

I pre-ordered the Switch 2 on Amazon with the expectation that it would be delivered on release day (today) but it hasn't even been shipped yet. The thing that annoys me is that people are cancelling their pre-orders and buying it again and it is arriving before my pre-order which I made on the 30th of April. I've never had a problem with Amazon in the past but this has really annoyed me.

Can anyone let me know if there is a decent way to complain via email? It doesn't show anything when I go to the contact us page.

So you were hoping it would have been shipped - what, yesterday? And this morning you're already wanting to complain?

The release day is today so it would never have been delivered to you today.

Thats not strictly true, ive pre-ordered computer games before and they have been delivered through my letterbox on the actual "release day", depends where you order from.

Also depends on when the goods are allowed to be released.

Down the shop first thing to take delivery of my shiny, new Sega Dreamcast.

That ended well....

The goods were allowed to be shipped yesterday. I have had mine delivered to work today (Argos pre-order, and the driver had at least a dozen boxes the exact same size (sized to fit the Switch 2)) and the mail room for the site currently has about forty boxes, all the same size, from Amazon, that appear to also be Switch 2 consoles.

Do you own your business?

It was a disciplinary offence at my place to have your Amazon et al stuff delivered to the office. Been in force since the times when Amazon only sold books.

Loved the Dreamcast... Shenmue, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Virtua Tennis, Crazy Taxi, Soul Caliber, House of the Dead 2, all great games at the time.
