My first bill since smart meter installed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a smart meter meant to send readings automatically so you don't have too - for accuracte bills?  :D

Just checked the meters:
Gas is 11
Electric is 204  :/

Yes. I suspect your smart meter isn't submitting readings. Take a reading and submit it then ask them to check your smart meter is connecting

Is the gas meter a smart gas meter? If it is then it would appear it is not communicating with the electric meter, which communicates with the outside world. It is a relatively common problem, especially if the gas and electric meters are not close to each other.

Yes they both are, done the same time.

As above submit manual reads via the supplier's app or web portal or telephone Customer Services with them.
Then complain to supplier that they aren't smart reads.

MY supplier EoN labels the readings as < nnnnn Smart meter reading >   (or Customer reading, Meter reader reading, Estimated reading etc.,.) in the detailed part of the bill.

Sign up for something like the Bright app to view your meter readings via the DCC at half-hourly intervals... that will show if the meters are connected to the DCC and therefore your Supplier should be able to use them.  Many supplier Apps also show the same readings info.

Doesn't look like the comms hub is communicating at all, does it? Allowing that both readings are estimates.

@Marvel1 I think this little utility will complain if there's no WAN connection: n3rgy data Smart Meter check. It will give details of any problems with devices on the HAN if it does manage to connect.

Enter the MPAN for the electricity supply and tick the tiny confirmation box before clicking on Check meter. Comments in the results about missing firmware updates and warnings about expiring security certification can be ignored.

Check the wan status lights on the device and if flashing flash rates 0.5 sec, 2 sec or 5 sec - or on off if not ?

Note hubs are different in north (arqiva lr radio) and south (cellular)  and now includes latest 4g hub details as well as older 2g/3g cellular hubs.

Basically on wan a 5 sec flash healthy comms link

    0.5 sec rapid unhealthy
    2 sec initialisation transition state

Cellular also have a gas status led - again low frequency 5 sec flash appears healthy state.

Full details of meanings in Appendix B of

    https://www.smartdcc.co.uk/media/kdged1me/communications-hub-supporting-information-v20.pdf

Ive never used that n3rgy test, but if that its report above it has meter types and if there right edmi es 10b is a smart electric meter,  as is landis+gyr g470 a smart gas meter -  I'd guess that means it's communicating to dcc on wan.

So might be your supplier needs to have another go at connecting to and integrating with your account.

It takes some a couple of weeks - but you've had over a month.

Ring them or email them and enquire why not using smart readings.

SW, WAN, HAN, GAS all flash every 5 seconds on the electric meter

No flash that I can see on the gas meter
