I thought you just wanted to stream games/twitch?
Anyway a couple of points.
You haven't mentioned what TV you have, some non smart TVs have a network connection for the channels in the 200s that are delivered over the network and can also use screen mirroring.
Also, have you considered an Android TV box which will connect to the TV and you can play games on it and stream movies using your phone as a hotspot, and they often do screen mirroring (mirror to the box which displays via HDMI)0
