Connecting Samsung phone to TV

Hi,
is there a way to connect a Samsung A52s 5G to a (non-smart) TV (to be able to watch on bigger screen)?
I can use Smart View (connected to xbox) but it lags/buffers due to unstable internet connection (using mobile data as no wifi), so I'd like to bypass the xbox and connect directly to TV. I have decent signal/speed (only 4G though, no 5G coverage in the area, but good enough to watch youtube in 1080p when on the phone, but on TV via xbox it can only handle 720p at best).
I've read somewhere that it's possible to connect via HDMI cable but no idea what kind of adapter to get. I bought a USB-C to HDMI adapter (and connected via a normal HDMI cable to TV) thinking it would work but it doesn't, the TV doesn't detect the phone at all.
I don't want to be buying anymore adapters only for them to be the wrong kind. I either need a adapter that will connect directly to the HDMI slot on the TV or that will connect to a normal HDMI cable (that I use to connect DVD player).
Can anyone post a link to a cheap adaptor/cable that will work please?
Thanks!

Oh you don't have WIFI hmm 🤔0

Thanks, but that's not what I'm after.
Just to clarify, I don't need any streaming services (like Netflix and such). Just a way to be able to watch what I do on the phone (playing games, watching Twitch etc) on the TV.
I've looked it up online and some people recommend MHL adaptors and other things but I have no idea what they are and if they would work with the phone I have. I don't have a clue about this sort of stuff and the forums area all too technical for my understanding...0 -
Type C cable to HDMI long lead it's the sound and mirroring it should work I used to do something similar years ago off a laptop to mirror BT football.0

Sometimes the screen resolution on the TV needs adjusting to pick up your phone. It's over a decade ago that I used it like that but remember the screen being black until I changed the settings.0

The Samsung A52s USB-C port does not support video output via HDMI.
YOu could try a Miracast receiver on the HDMI input of TV and enable mirroring on the mobile. Wireless HDMI 4K Dongle Supports 1080P with 2.4/5GHz Wireless HDMI Transmitter Chromecast Compatible with Android/IOS/Windows/Mac/Projector Support DLNA/AirMirror/Airplay/Miracast: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo0 -

I think you would probably need a laptop also connected to get the hdmi output then mirroring Via laptop option.0

- Would that work without wifi/broadband? -
Your phone and the Miracast receiver are making a connection on Wi-Fi Direct, which allows two devices to connect to each other without going through a traditional Wi-Fi router used for broadband internet
- but the internet becomes very slow/unstable -
The Galaxy A52s should handle 4G video streaming and Miracasting simultaneously without major CPU strain. Most hiccups are likely to come from network quality (4G or Wi-Fi Direct) rather than a CPU bottleneck.
Echoing Viz advice, for a big screen experience just move the phone closer to your eyes0
