Hi have read the above with great interest.

park with ease whinlatter parking charge received today. 01.09.25.  It's dated 26.08.25.

I noted the following comment and am hoping that as I have not replied and its very new that we may be helped??
"It's a pity you never came here first you may have had a quick get out with the 14 day rule if you hadn't replied like you did and spilled the beans."

We drove through the PWE parking area to go past the Cyclewise shop for a good few hundred yards up a track into what's essentially only forest. on Saturday 16.08.25.
No signs at all about parking or charges once the main parking area is driven through.
Had a great walk/picnic then drove back through the PWE area and back onto the main road.

Stunned to get a request to donate funds to PWE in the post today.

Can you help please, I don't want to be ripped off!

Welcome! You need to start a new thread.

Can you please show us, on that new thread:

    - the sign stating the t&cs and £50/£30

    - the Notice to keeper (data, refs & QR Code redacted) and I mean both sides please!

No replies here even though it's similar, it's not about your case. We have to have separate threads per PCN or we'd make mistakes which won't help you. It also disadvantages and is unfair to the OP

We have received a letter for a parking charge from Park with ease following a short visit to Whinlatter.

Firstly, we received the letter AFTER the 14 days of the date of issue where we could pay the reduced fine if we wanted to, which I have complained about to them.

Our "Charge" is £50 which would have been reduced to £30 if paid within 14 days but we never received the 1st letter until after those 14 days.
Amazing (not!) how often this happens with smaller PPCs. To be fair, we also see this trick from large ANPR firms too.

The 'date sent' of the NTK often appears to be false; ahem! It's almost as if some rogue firms don't want people to be able to pay at the discount. Quelle surprise...
