thanks for your response. will do just that.Coupon-mad said:You can't stop them. Just knock each one down like shooting fish in a barrel as claims arrive.
How did you get on with the Public Consultation? I've not yet submitted my responses to the questions but there is now fairly detailed guidance on all the questions in that thread.
only 5 days to go.
Regarding the consultation. It seemed a little overwhelming when I looked previously. Glad to hear there is now detailed guidance on the questions. Will attempt again before the 5th. Thanks3 -
Hello everyone, just wanted to give an update on my case and get further guidance. So I have followed the guidanc
e and submitted all requests using the templates given. The last I recall was a request for when a mediator can call me. Yet I have not heard back. I randomly went onto the Mcol site to see if there was any update. I saw the following. Anyone else had this. No mail has been recieved. Not sure what to make of the whole things. 0 -
Very strange, looks like you didnt file your N180 a few months ago, after they posted it out to you
Or
You filed it but it wasn't logged
Also you should have received a sanctions order too
Or
Have you moved and not informed all parties?2 -
Its odd because I filed on time and still received the sanctions order and responded to that too. Thankfully there is an email trail.
I have recently moved in the last few weeks. Wondering if I should update the courts too. Thought I still access to my other address for mails.

Definitely inform them all of the change of address, especially to the CNBC and DCB Legal , in writing, emails
There are numerous cases of N180 failures on here, so complaints should be made to the CNBC and HMCTS if not done already
We hope that you emailed the completed downloaded N180 DQ pdf document, not pictures or scans. ?2 -
Two complaints are needed ... CNBC and HMCTS, AND you need to update your address with the CNBC and the solicitors (absolutely do NOT tip off the latter that your defence is currently struck out).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ahhh, that might be the issue. On both occasions they are pictures not Pdfs.
It will be such a shame to be penalised for that when it doesn't specifically request for pdfs on the letter they send.0 -
Yes but you aren't the first one and these complaints do get it reset.Nospiders123 said:Ahhh, that might be the issue. On both occasions they are pictures not Pdfs.

This is their problem, not your fault.
Think about it: they send you a PAPER form in the post, so people returning it by email are obviously likely to fill it in by hand & scan or take a pic of the pages. Nothing tells you not to do that.
BTW, don't mention this knowledge in your complaint. Just attach a PDF version this time and proof of the email receipt. You aren't to know what the problem was.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The latest CNBC N180 pack does mention using a QR code or using a weblink to download the N180 pdf document, fill it in and email it to the DQ email address , so post or emailNospiders123 said:Ahhh, that might be the issue. On both occasions they are pictures not Pdfs.

It has never mentioned taking pictures or scans, if in doubt you should have asked in this thread , especially when the sanctions order arrived
Dont mention those caveats above by coupon mad, ignorance is bliss, but do email them a completed pdf replicating your initial submission to aid them in correcting their previous omissions, if that expedite correcting the problem
Keep checking your MCOL claim history to see when its been logged by the CNBC ad reinstatement of the defence and the stay
Do update them both with your new address1 -
Thanks for your response.
In all honesty, even the downloadable version is tricky to fill in online and the average individual would scan the docs in.
I will resend pdf versions today. Who can I make the complaint to. ?0
