Hi all.
I'm with sky and on the 500 mb bb. I have it on offer for £41 which come July I am out of contract. They have said they can only reduce it to £39 if I stay.
I am looking for 500mb (do lots of gaming/streaming) I mean I collect probably drop to 350 or so mb.
My question is can i expect to get a good deal under £30 for say minimum 350mb? Or should I just accept the sky offer.
Unfortunately virgin don't serve my postcode yet.

What's the best you can get with plusnet or Vodafone? The 132Mb package is probably good enough - that's what I've been using1

From memory I think I saw something like £28 for Vodafone. Will need to double check. You reckon 132 is decent enough? Can you stream easily?0

I'd rather have low latency and a good upload coupled with solid reliability than blazing download speeds (that hardly anyone ever needs) any day.
A full 4K HDR stream requires about 50Mb tops, a normal HD stream to a tablet or mobile, closer to 15mB
Amazing that half a Gigabit is now being suggested as required for the average family!• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.
