PCN over a 'Not Marked Bay' from Ocean Parking

Options
HI Guys.  I have received PCN for apparently not parking in a marked parking bay at a Metrolink park and ride station.  I parked my car in between 2 other vehicles, with another behind me.  Having parked up at 12.20pm and returned around 5.30pm.  The notice timing states 17:16 and there are no other vehicles around me when these shots have been taken.  And it seems from the shots there were indeed no bay markings!

They have quoted Paragraph 9 from the PoFA 2012 and stated T&C's have been breached by not parking within a marked bay.  I have received the notice within 14days from the incident occuring.

Can I still appeal this using the normal template and there is anything I should be adding into this in respect to the other vehicles being there when I parked up? I have no evidence of the other vehicles having been to either side of me as it is not something I am in the habit of doing when parking in a car park!

I have attached the notice below.  TIA.

Ignore it. They don't have valid contracts for Metrolink land because it all actually belongs to the railways. They don't do court as a result.

There's no point trying the IAS. Nobody has any confidence in it whatsoever. Just ignore it but tell them if you move house obviously.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Then you must send Data Rectification Notice to DPO at Ocean Parking. See NEWBIES post 4 Debt Recovery Stage changed address.

Having read that thread, do I need to notify others that I have moved for previous notices??  Even if I haven't heard again for over a year?  As they say, let sleeping dogs lie. Also the current address is of family.

Absolutely yes! I have no idea why anyone would think it's safe not to.

As they say, let sleeping dogs lie.
    Categorically NO. Eek!  :o

This is how people get CCJs here (literally seen every week, even with a family address). You MUST see and open every letter to be sure you are not being sued.

Never assume the sleeping dogs will keep on sleeping. See this thread the OP's last post was Aug 2023 today they posted to say Claim Form received.

And this one is one of the recent flood of claims filed for pcns from 2019 https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6609497/g24-dcbl-parked-outside-marked-bay-aug-2019-defense

I would still be getting my letters from this current address as it is my brothers house.  And I am moving 5mins down the road.  Hence I was asking about not notifying of the new address.
