If you are sure that he will pass all letters to you the same week (including someone going to his house when he's on a fortnight's holiday?) then you can safely leave the address there as long as he doesn't move within 6 years.

Stretford Metrolink Car Park has nothing to do with the railways. The Alty line was transferred to TfGM in 1988 and they are now the freeholders. The operation of the line is franchised to Amey / Keolis / Metrolink. TfGM (Bee Network) publish parking conditions for Inter Alia Stretford on their website so how a private predator like Ocen think they can override a public authority's conditions of parking is to say the least interesting. You will gather that I - like you - am in dispute with these pirates but my problem stems from the other end of the Metrolink system but is obviously simple in that I had one tire on / over the white line so apparently I have to be hung for it and Andy Burnham, TfGM, Metrolink and my MP all do not have the common sense to see a nonsense when it is put before them so it likes like at some date I will hear from the legal beagles!

    BUT

I have just received a reminder that I "owe" these bandits £100 and I looked at the details on the envelope. Ocean (Anchor) are based in Chester YET - the original PCN and this reminder have both been sent from Northampton PO Box 1642 P/C NN1 9LP.  That postcode is attached to the Northampton Civil Justice Centre!

How come Northampton - who have no part in this subject until a legal claim is lodged - are doing Ocean;s dirty work for them and sending out invoices from Ocean from day one???

It all seems a bit incestuous to me!

    Northampton aren't sending those letters.

Ocean have used/created a PO Box that includes that postcode. Looks to me like it's done to mislead the public. Quelle surprise.

The envelopes sent by Ocean with the PCN and then the reminder both have  a return address on the envelope flap as PO Box 1642 NN1 9LP.. That PO Box and postcode are the Business Centre at Northampton County Court who regularly process legal claims from this indistry..

Yes - I can see that this does not absolutely guarantee that the letter was actually sent from NN1 9LP - but why is that the return address??

I isn't a "created" reference - Google it and you will see this seems to be regular practice.

The question remains - how can the County Court business centre act as invoice distributors for matters that may be later referred to them as legal claims - where's the impartiality in that?????

    They don't.

it is possible to get a PO Box with any postcode in the UK. Royal Mail offers PO Box services, and you can choose a location based on your preference.
Here's how to get a PO Box:

    1. Online Application:
    • Visit the Royal Mail website and apply online.
    • You'll need a debit or credit card registered to the address you provide.
    • Allow up to 7 working days for setup.
    2. Postal Application:
    • Download the application form from the Royal Mail website.
    • Send the completed form, along with proof of ID and a cheque, to the following address:
      • Royal Mail PO Box Team
      • Dearne House
      • Cortonwood Drive
      • Brampton
      • BARNSLEY
      • S73 0UF
    3. Virtual PO Boxes:
    • Consider virtual PO Box services like UK Postbox if you need more flexibility or a broader range of locations.
These services offer street addresses in various UK locations and can handle mail forwarding and scanning. Virtual PO Boxes can be a good alternative to a traditional PO Box, especially if you need a registered office address or want to maintain privacy.

I have had my reminder letter a little while ago not sure what the address was on the envelope.  Have no idea where I put it but the notice states Chester.
