Well slow but steady progress. 1580 points so far. Will probably end up on 2550 which is a lot more than I expected.

1520 points and 4 challenges completed so far. Will pick up another 500 points and finish 2 challenges after this morning's shop. Not likely to get many more points though - bought my veg in Lidl at 4p / 8p rather than 15p in T (or 5 for £1 in Asda !)

I'm only on 260 points and have a fridge full of Cathedral City cheese. Will buy one more packet which will get me to 410 points. Might get somewhere between 40-160 points for sweet potato fries, but can't see me getting any of the others. Not great this time.

Pleasantly surprised to find I'm on target for over 3000 points. Quite unexpected as I haven't bought anything I don't normally buy but it seems some products count in more than 1 challenge.

There are a few store cupboard things I might buy extra of before the challenge end to bump things up a little more.

I used to do most of my shopping at Aldi, then 18 months or do ago I switched to Tesco and subscribed to clubcard plus. With that and clubcard challenges it's certainly been worth it.

Well the challenges are about to end and 3780 was a lot more than I was expecting initially. I

I decided to stock up on things I would have bought anyway which added a fair few points.

So including my normal points that's a pretty satisfying 7450 points so far this year or £149 off a holiday.

    Fingers crossed for round 3.

I think I managed 510. Not a good selection for me this time.

I agree, this was not a great selection of choices of things to select for the extra points. Surprisingly, I managed to earn 1,170 points so quite happy with that.

I was not focused on the targets and the end date, so a lucky 19 pence above one award threshold but an annoying £1 below the threshold for another item. If I'd been aware, I was in the store yesterday so could have picked up another item and I will always use it, but didn't.

I had quite a number of items where the threshold levels had increased so I did not even make the first step.

I had same sort of problem. Was 2p under on the cheese challenge. Was passing Tesco anyway so bought some. Would have needed it this week anyway. Bumped my total up to 3890.

I just hope the next round doesn't include tomatoes and canned fish. There's only so much anchovy pizza I can eat!

    New challenges are out.

    April 27 - June 7

Some seem quite tough (for me).

Same here. Most of the challenges are to buy more of what we stocked up on over the past couple - there is only so much household cleaning product you can store.
