Take the judge to 9(2)f of Schedule 4 which is not in this NTK. Easy to explain when you see that!

    Well here goes.

    3. The Defendant is not indebted to the Claimant. The Defendant does not accept that a contravention occurred on 06/05/2025, as alleged. Whilst the Defendant was the registered keeper. The Defendant is not liable and has seen no evidence of a breach of prominent terms. The quantum is hugely exaggerated (no PCN can be £160 on private land) and there were no damages incurred whatsoever. The first correspondence received from the Claimant was a Notice to keeper PCN which was Non - POFA 2012 compliant, see 9(2)f of Schedule 4

    Pedant alert!

Whilst the Defendant was the registered keeper. The Defendant is not liable and has seen no evidence of a breach of prominent terms.

    Should be: -

Whilst the Defendant was the registered keeper, The the Defendant is not liable and has seen no evidence of a breach of prominent terms.

See the difference remove full stop and add comma

Do I just select the nearest county court

Usually, or whatever is convenient for you.

What court are you thinking? Some are known to be more friendly than others.
