Yes that's a good factual summary.

My suggestions:

• car park is two words, so change that throughout;
• there seems to be no exhibit of the photo saying 'no charge payable';
• You need a statement of truth at the end, and signature & date under it;
• you don't seem to have used any of the recommended exhibits in the long list in post 2 of the NEWBIES thread;
• you haven't added a challenge for them to prove landowner authority, which your defence did, if you used the Template Defence;
• you haven't challenged the false added 'fee/damages' of £70. See other recent WS e.g. in the thread by @JackR1 (April 2026) which includes HHJ Moloney's transcript in the first hearing in ParkingEye v Beavis, which was agreed by the Supreme Court and proves that it is binding case law that an £85 PCN more than covered all the letters that this rogue sector now dress up as if it's separate 'debt recovery' costs. That one also has Excel v Wilkinson which you also need (but don't copy the other cases from his one as Edward, Smith, Chan or Akande do not relate to your case).

Many thanks @Coupon-mad . I just copied and posted the basic text. The actual draft document iwas set out with correct heading, SoT etc. I just needed some sort of clarity as to other things I needed to put down so I could work on the final document tonight and collated the evidence etc. My daughter no longer had the screenshot from 3 years ago…..

It really is criminal that the sharks can get away with their antics. Our postie has been top notch today. NoD received just 36 hours before deadline for for submission of court evidence packs from claimant and defendant!!!!!!

I can breathe again and get to bed at a decent time…… This forum and all contributers advice is exemplary. It's unfortunate that so many people have to seek your help with such a minefield of information, legal jargon, guidance and utter !!!!!! spewed by private parking companies, so called debt collectors and shark legal operators. THANK YOU and to all those questioning - have faith and DON'T give in to these rogue operators attempting to exhort money from you. Yes, it's draining, sometimes a nightmare to find comments and threads but keep battling on. Thank you in particular to @Coupon-mad along with others who have responded to my never ending search for advice from a complete novice. Don't let age put you off and always stand up to scammers.
