How do I lift this drain cover?

People are often desperate to have their drains unblocked. However, if you can get the cover up without any damage it would be a good result.

This is more pre-emptive inspection, though.

It's always a wise move to check your manhole covers are easily located and removed. Always should be one of the first jobs when moving in to a new house, as well as checking the stopcock and smoke alarms work.
Hopefully you'll get this one up without any damage.
