Negative eBay Experience

Hi, I am new too. I believe Ebay is failing. Its share price is in free fall too.Trying to complain is such a faff . I ordered an item from a "same day despatch" UK seller and got it 12 days later in an AliExpress package from China. It was three times the price of the AliExpress listed item. Ripped off or what ? Looking at the negative feedback for this seller I am not the only one falling for this scam. I only use Ebay now if I want something quickly and the seller is honestly claiming 2 day delivery.Why pay through the nose when carefull selection from AliExpress and Temu gets you what you want at the right price. Just have to wait a day ot two for it. Ebayss Age Verification is not easy either.They already know how old I am and that I have a credit card.  The online form does not say you have to put the backslash in the date box so it kept telling me "the date looks wrong when the date was correct just missing the backslash. Remember when you could speak to somebody if you had a problem ? Ebay is past its sell by date.

Hello, I am so sorry to hear about your past experiences. 

Yes, exceptional customer service in general is a rare sight to behold nowadays (and not just on eBay). Most are only willing to do the bare minimum of what is expected of them and that’s it (and sometimes not even that!), so I can certainly understand your frustration.
