I'd suggest getting stainless steel rather than aluminium so if you ever upgrade from ceramic to induction you won't need a new set of pans.

Those are the ones I have and the largest two can double up as casserole dishes in the oven.
However, any saucepan, whatever brand, can scratch the glass top if @ninjaf chooses not to follow the advice given such as wiping the bases and/or lifting rather than sliding them across the surface.0 -

So stainless , what about aluminium anodized, that's gentler than steel ??0
