Also, off to Tesc@. So will update signature once I'm home
I ended up spending £1.10 in Tesc@ on red peppers
Then £4.09 in the spice shop on rosemary, oregano and sumac. Not desperately needed, but wanted.
Then I had a mad splurge in the International shop and spent £10.03 on a massive bag of pink Himalayan rock salt, bulgar wheat, pearl couscous (yes I'm eating gluten free but it seems to be when I've got wheat and yeast together, so not being super strict), some cake flavourings and poppy seeds.
Finally, £3.29 in Savers on Bath salts.
Total: £24.15 (gulp)
I know some things will last way into July, but wasn't expecting to spend that much!
I fear I will be close to my total now. I did however, not manage to get a Bread and Butter collection this week as they were oversubscribed. So hopefully, I will still come in under total. I've got eleven days to go though 🙃.
I should only need minimal veg- potatoes, carrots, greens and maybe some lettuce. So i still should have enough to cover the last B and B thing of my GC month next week, and any little top ups.

So I had a spend in Ald! on Wednesday, which I'm going to approximate at £13; because I can't for the life of me find the receipt or remember if I even got it from the self serve.
I went in there for uniform for DGD; but didn't separate the non grocery from grocery, thinking it's ok I'll need the receipt incase the uniform doesn't fit !!!
So, I can't even get it off my Google Wallet or banking transactions, and can only remember buying lettuce, potatoes, carrots and a face cream 😩.
I also have a Bread and Butter thing for Tuesday. So, I will add that now to my signature too.
So, that's a total of £21.50.

@K9sandFelines did you scan your Aldi app? Is there a digital receipt in there?2

Aldi doesn't have an app, only Lidl.
I have the total amount spent from the banking app. So I had to estimate the groceries by deducting the price of the uniform bits ( by going online on the special buys).GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £89.90/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Ahhh gotcha. For some reason I thought Aldi had one. Maybe in other countries.2

It seems I spent £144 in June. This includes a supermarket "takeaway" when looking after the DGCs, with left overs going into my freezer.
So that brings the total spend for the year so far to £650/1500. I'm at a music festival at the end of the month so pleased this gives me some wriggle room, I can afford to indulge a little at the food stalls.Grocery challenge 2025: £650/1500 annual budget4 -
I've gone over the budget this week and have lost track of the spending.
I've also had to use the bulk fund for other things.
I'm going to start again tomorrow, but budget £20 per month for the bulk fund as a separate amount, but also add what is hopefully left from the shopping budget.
I think writing a list may help, also not picking up bits daily or impulsive buys.

£1.10 in Waitr@se on lemongrass and two onions
I'm over by a smidge now.

Which leaves me a few quid to spare til (and including the 12th)I found my receipt and actually spent £7.84 not £13. However today, I've got linseed and cardamom powder, so I can pair it with the easy peelers. So that was then £4.98 from the £5.16 I was under. So now I've got 18p to add back onto the signature, but I'm still a bit over
