Good evening, I'm after a little help if you don't mind.

I'm looking for a new desktop pc but not sure how I can connect toy 4k TV without a hdmi port.
Rear ports listed below as I am not sure if this is possible with this model.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

7. 7.1 audio 6-connector stack of re-taskable audio ports
8. DisplayPort 1.4 (UMA only)
9. USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 1 (x2)
10. USB 3.2 Type-C™Gen 2x2 (no video/audio output)
11. USB 2.0 Type-A (x2)
12. Gigabit Ethernet

You don’t say what connectors your tv has (I assume that’s your pc connections listed), but assuming it has hdmi, then many dp to hdmi cables exist.
    Check your length requirements though.

Are you saying that the 4K TV has no hdmi port or the new pc?

I would have thought a 4k TV would have a hdmi port.

If they can get an adapter from pc to TV would they not need an audio cable as well as I don't think display ports carry audio like hdmi.

If audio from TV not needed then sound from pc audio card would be ok.

What computer make/model are you looking to buy?
It would be very unusual for it not to have HDMI in this day and age at least.

Display port does carry audio. Both my computers are connected to their monitors by a display port cable and produce sound with no other connections.

Sorry, back to HDMI question.  Is this a DELL XPS tower?  Does it have an Nvidia graphics card?

The desktop has DisplayPort, which is effectively "HDMI with a different shaped plug to avoid licensing fees". You can buy a converter for a few quid, or a cable with HDMI on one end and DP on the other.

Depending on the age/brand of TV, you might be able to cast wirelessly. Windows key + k or click on notifications window in the bottom right and the pc will scan for nearby devices that it can connect to

Failing that, as mentioned, display port to hdmi cable will be the cheapest option

If you know the pc connector type, a simple Amazon search will find you to a connector to HDMI.

Personally I’ve never had good experiences trying to connect computers to TVs - you need to adjust the scaling output in your operating system, and for me it just never works well for most computer operations.  It might work better for gaming if that’s your thing.
