Good evening, I'm after a little help if you don't mind.
I'm looking for a new desktop pc but not sure how I can connect toy 4k TV without a hdmi port.
Rear ports listed below as I am not sure if this is possible with this model.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
7. 7.1 audio 6-connector stack of re-taskable audio ports
8. DisplayPort 1.4 (UMA only)
9. USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 1 (x2)
10. USB 3.2 Type-C™Gen 2x2 (no video/audio output)
11. USB 2.0 Type-A (x2)
12. Gigabit Ethernet

You don’t say what connectors your tv has (I assume that’s your pc connections listed), but assuming it has hdmi, then many dp to hdmi cables exist.Eg this one:

I would have thought a 4k TV would have a hdmi port.

If audio from TV not needed then sound from pc audio card would be ok.0 -

Depending on the age/brand of TV, you might be able to cast wirelessly. Windows key + k or click on notifications window in the bottom right and the pc will scan for nearby devices that it can connect to
Failing that, as mentioned, display port to hdmi cable will be the cheapest option1 -
If you know the pc connector type, a simple Amazon search will find you to a connector to HDMI.
Personally I’ve never had good experiences trying to connect computers to TVs - you need to adjust the scaling output in your operating system, and for me it just never works well for most computer operations. It might work better for gaming if that’s your thing.0
