Thank you both @Coupon-mad and @Gr1pr. Have sent the defence now after simplifying paragraph 3. Will wait and see.
    But while you wait:

Want to help change the law? Pleeease come back in 2 weeks when we be further discussing the Public Consultation that we need ALL defendants to respond to.

If you want to be part of the push to change things in future, it's very important that people like you tell the Government NOW that:

    a) you have no faith in POPLA or the IAS and that there must be the SINGLE APPEALS SERVICE that the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 *almost* promised. As long as it is independent (and only ONE appeals service, not two involved in a race to the bottom) that will give a real option to resolve disputed cases out of court.

b).  THAT THE ENRICHMENT OF 'DEBT RECOVERY FEES' MUST BE COMPLETELY BANNED. DISPUTED CASES ARE NOT SOLVED BY DEMANDING MORE MONEY AND ENGINEERING A 'PAYMENT PLAN'.

c). Tell them about your experience.

Responses are invited to the Consultation now:

We will discuss it on that thread.

Thanks Coupon-mad. Going through the pages on the link yiu have posted. We definitely need to change this practice.

I have not received an email as expected to state that DCB legal Will proceed with the claim. They have sent their completed N180 directions questionnaire which shows the response against the question "hearing venue" as claimants home court.

I take this is what the claimant wants as opposed to what will be allocated.
I am guessing that i will get a chance to express my wishes when I get my own N180.

Just clarifying that I did not miss the opportunity to say I want the hearing local to my address.

    Thank you
