Wonder if anyone can help? I have an ISA at Standard Life that I need to cash in BUT I am not sure if the ISA would allow me to a share entitlement next year when Standard Life could float. Does anyone know the answer to this at all?

Hello Biffo,
To get shares you need to be a member and to be a member you need to be invested in the With profits fund.AFAIK this doesn't come in an ISA format but suggest you call them up and check.Trying to keep it simple...0 -
Hi,
Thanks for your help - I shall confirm it with them when I call.0 -
You should have taken out a £20 one-off WP Stakeholder Pension "plan"
.
That would have qualified for the likely £500 or thereabouts compensation for loss of voting rights - not a bad return on the "investment"0 -
Hi Carnet,
Thanks for that info - I have got a couple of other policies with Standad Life which i believe entitle me to some shares but I just didnt want to lose any extra by cashing in my ISA.0
