In DCB’s earlier reply, they also attached this document. It’s the first time I’ve seen it—clearly, it was sent to my old address. The notice itself states that the driver is liable, and I’ve categorically proven that I was not the driver or had any control or responsibility for the vehicle at the time.

This is just a reminder, not the original Notice to Keeper. My guess is that they failed to comply with the POFA on their first letter and are trying to hide that from you.Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:

After I submitted the sales receipt to DCB, they responded saying they’ve forwarded it to their client (who I have already supplied it to weeks ago) for review, and will advise further once they receive a response. I hope I’m not being overly optimistic, but they showed no interest in my defence when I initially tried to present it just tried to bully me into submission! I’ll update when I hear back.

Just wanted to let you know that DCB have replied to confirm no further action is required and the case is now closed. I'm so relieved! Thanks again for all your guidance and support.

You can send a complaint to Excel's DPO (see their privacy page) telling them to erase your data under the circumstances and confirm by return that the PCN will not be pursued with you because you are not the correct data subject.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just a thought, this was DCBL replying and they often say that their case is closed when in reality it's been transferred to DCB Legal for further action. That's what happens when people reply to DCBL in response to a Letter of Claim from DCB Legal even though they are the same organisation based in the same building.
Just what you'd expect from companies that had PCN socks on their enormous stand at Parkex.
