Hey,

After some info please....................asda no live chat.

DD going to France in a few weeks and on an unlimited PAYG contract.

I believe she can only use 5GB max data? but I dont want any shock bills so have put a spend cap on.

Does it need anything adjusted to make it work in France? Anything else to be wary of. No linked Credit Card.

If you have turned on cap there is nothing further you need to do as the sim allows for EU roaming. Most providers have a limit how much of the data can be used during the EU roaming however which they state in the T&C. It's possible she won't be able to use the full 5 GB but you would need to check the terms. She might just be fine. Just be sure to utilize WiFi spots.

Do you mean it's a PAYM (rather than PAYG) with unlimited data?

You're right, all Asda plans have a 5GB free roaming limit. If you've set a spend limit on the account then that will prevent unwanted large spend.
