    You use it if you have received a formal Letter of Claim giving you 30 days notice to deal with it,  plus it would include financial forms that you do not fill in

    So use it if or when you have a formal LoC

    Otherwise,  wait for it, then respond

    Thanks @Gr1pr

    So the letter I posted here isn’t the LoC and that will presumably appear next if I don’t respond to this letter?

    It doesn't look like any LoC that I have ever seen,  especially not from Gladstones

    Doing the correct thing is only useful when the criteria are met

    I would assume that you are correct,  that the next communication will be a formal Letter of Claim,  in the post, certainly not by email

    An email from Gs often means that a LOC has been posted to an old address. So I think the OP should reply with their correct address.

    Yes, if that is the case then confirming the correct address for the service of papers is definitely a good idea

    Nobody needs legal paperwork going to an old address

    @Gr1pr @Coupon-mad
    The reason the PCN went to my old address was because after moving and changing my drivers license address with the dvla,  I assumed all dvla documents would automatically update but that isn’t true. For the VC5 remains in the old address are until manually changed. And I never gave the VC5 a second thought.
    Can you tell me if I’ll need to complete a TE7 & or TE9 form and send to Gladstones or Minster Baywarch or Meadowhall? It is that not until I receive a LoC?
    Thank you

    Of course it does. You had to change it.

    TE7 & or TE9 forms are for real penalties. This isn't a penalty. You've been reading the wrong thing.

    Simply reply giving your correct address for service to Gladstones and tell them to ERASE THE OLD ADDRESS and that you have received nothing by post.

    Presumably now I wait and they will issue ???
    What do we reckon they will deliver next?
