Premier park

Hi, previously posted and had advice on an ongoing thread, so have made a new thread now. I received a parking charge notice from Premier park for overstaying 13 minutes in a retail park, it is not a paid car park and I didn't even realise their was a time limit, have already read newbies thread but when trying to open the complaint template for Plan A it seems to have expired, could someone share? Also looking to see who owns the retail park and it comes up as ReAssure ltd but it says abrdn Investment Management is the asset manager, do I make the complaint to ReAssure ltd? Thanks

There is no complaint template. Nothing to 'open'.

There is a thread linked which is called SUCCESSFUL COMPLAINTS ABOUT PPCs which you obviously read the latest posts on, not the first post from over a decade ago.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Sorry again, read the reference to that post in newbies and did go to the post over a decade ago to try and open, clearly not understanding!

It is not in the NEWBIE sticky but stands alone as an announcement thusly: -

Successful complaints about private parking tickets - how to get them cancelled!

Start at the end on page 97 and work up the list.
  • Thank you, I’m going to complain to owners but it says in the threads to not mention who was driving, on what basis can I ask for it to be cancelled? My daughter was in a retail park, we now know it’s free parking for 3 hours but she stayed for 3 hours 13 minutes, she had coffee and was revising, not sure what I can complain about other than not realising their was a time limit and a £90 fine feels unreasonable, but surely I have to acknowledge the situation which references my daughter?

You just say 'my daughter' in the complaint. That's not naming anyone!

  • Thanks, so you think I can complain based on scenario in last post, didn’t realise time limit and unreasonable?

    No.

Copy what others said to retail parks.

  • Ok, I’ll leave challenging, I have been reading others comments for reasons and I don’t have a challenge, others say medical emergencies or delayed with children etc my only issue is it wasn't clear for my daughter but I can’t prove they haven’t got effective signage, it does feel an unreasonable cost for overstaying by 13 minutes but is unreasonable a justification to challenge, thanks anyway
  • Also is the reason “don’t ignore” advised because if it does go to court it adds more weight to your case if you have challenged, if it’s not what is the reason behind “don’t ignore”?
